Togo hastens preparations for Expo 2010 Shanghai

Togolese cabinet discussed the scope of its country's preparations for the Expo 2010 Shanghai during its weekly meeting on Thursday.

The cabinet meeting decided that preparations for the exhibition should start in earnest even though the date of the event seemed far away.

The measures to be implemented within the short term, including the appointment of a commissioner general for the exhibition, the formation of a preparatory committee, the choice of the country's sub-theme within the exhibition's overall theme of "best city, best life" and the signing of the contract for participation.
