font size

China's law enforcement agencies have cracked 125 cases involving organized crime since the beginning of 2006, the agencies revealed on Thursday.

People's procuratorates at different levels have prosecuted 246 suspects involved in organized crime, said the special national coordinating office which is comprised of police forces, procuratorates, courts and judiciaries at the state level.

The four major law enforcement agencies launched a special campaign to fight organized crime at the beginning of 2006.

The office urged local law enforcement agencies to cultivate civilian informants who can exposure criminal organizations and follow up every lead they provide to the agencies.
