Two Chinese Navy destroyers to visit Indonesia

Two Chinese Navy destroyers carrying 390 personnel will visit Indonesia from March 23 to 26 for the first time in 12 years.

The ships formation will be commanded by Qiu Yanpeng, commander of Destroyer Flotilla with the People's Liberation Army Navy's East Sea Fleet, the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta said Tuesday.

The two destroyers are FFG522 Lian Yun Gang and FFG524 San Ming.
