font size

The six-party talks is likely to continue on Thursday, sources with the talks said on Wednesday evening.

The sources said the chief negotiators' meeting scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has not been held yet and it is likely that the talks will continue on Thursday.

The six chief negotiators will possibly meet on Thursday morning, said the sources.

The six-party talks, which comprise China, the United States, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the Republic Of Korea, Japan and Russia, remained stalled on Wednesday because of DPRK's refusal to attend the talks until its frozen funds at a Macao bank are transferred to its account at a Chinese bank in Beijing.
