Pakistan National Day reception held in Beijing

A reception to celebrate the the National Day and the 60th Anniversary of Independence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held in Beijing Friday evening.

More than 700 guests attended Friday's reception, including China's assistant foreign minister Cui Tiankai.

China and Pakistan established diplomatic ties on May 21, 1951.
