font size

Wang Zhaoguo, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, called on lawyers and legal workers in trade unions to actively participate in the protection of workers' legitimate rights and interests.

Wang made the remarks on Tuesday when meeting with lawyers who had made outstanding contributions to the protection of workers' rights and interests.

He encouraged lawyers and legal workers to help trade unions and workers to supervise the operation of companies according to the law, and guide workers on their legitimate rights and interests.

Ten Chinese lawyers were awarded the title of "Outstanding lawyers in safeguarding workers' rights and interests".
