    World's tallest man marries

    Bo Xishun, the tallest person in the world, and his girlfriend, Xia Shujuan, were married in Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia on March 26. Bao Xishun, a Mongolian nationality herdsman, was born in 1951. He is 2.36 meters tall. In 2005, he was recognized as the tallest living man by the Guinness Book of Records. His wife, Xia Shujuan, is 28 years old and 1.68 meters high.

    China's biggest ferry begins maiden voyage

    China's biggest ferry, developed independently, is named "Bo Hai Yin Zhu" and began its maiden voyage on March 28, 2007. The ferry is 161.2 meters long and 24.8 meters wide. It has a 1800-meter driveway, and can carry 1160 passengers and 120 heavy vehicles (each with a maximum length of 15 meters). The ferry cost 270 million yuan to build.
