Ten automobile companies, two of which are Chinese-Chery and Zhonghua Car-have been certified for China Environmental Labeling. This is the second batch of car brands to be put on the government's 'green' car procurement list. It is also the first time a Chinese car brand has made the list, the Environment Development Center under the State Environment Protection Administration of China announced on Wednesday.

The ten automobile enterprises added to the list are Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Guangzhou Honda, Dongyue Automobile Co. Ltd. under Shanghai GM, Shenyang Beisheng Automobile Co. Ltd. under Shanghai GM, Chery, and Guangzhou Toyota, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Corporation Ltd., Shenyang Huachen Jinbei Co. Ltd., and Tianjin Faw Toyota Motor Co. Ltd.
