U.S. soldier killed in Baghdad

A U.S. soldier was killed in non- battle related cause in the Iraqi capital on Friday, a U.S. military statement said on Sunday.

The name of the soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, the statement said.

More than 3,245 U.S. soldiers have been killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, according to media count based on Pentagon figures.
