Senior Chinese advisor meets Myanmar guests

Zhou Tienong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Tuesday met a delegation of the Union Solidarity and Development Association of Myanmar(USDA).

Zhou, also vice president of the Chinese Association for International Understanding, said during the meeting that China is an active supporter in promoting the friendly relations between the civil societies and organizations from both countries, and such organizations should make continuous efforts to promote the brotherly friendship between China and Myanmar.

The delegation from Myanmar is headed by U Maung Par, member of the Central Executive Committee of USDA and vice-mayor of Yangon City.
