Macao to host Int'l trade, investment fair in October

Macao is to hold the 12th International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) this October, the organizers said on Wednesday.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute held a press conference, announcing that this version will feature some 700 exhibition booths, a 50-percent rise over the previous version.

The 11th MIF, which was hosted in 2006, attracted 148 commerce and trade delegations from 47 countries and regions.

The four-day annual event has become an important trade platform for enterprises from the Chinese mainland, and European and Portuguese-speaking countries.
