China's special envoy to visit three Middle East nations

China's special envoy on Middle East issues Sun Bigan will visit Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Israel from April 9to 18, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the announcement in Beijing Thursday.

Sun will also make a stop in the European Union, Qin said.

The special envoy is expected to exchange views with parties concerned on current situation in the Middle East, particularly on the Palestine-Israel issue, said Qin.
