font size

Former Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk left Chinese capital Beijing on Sunday for home.

He was seen off by Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai, Cambodian ambassador to China Khek Caimealy Sysoda and the ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Choe Jin Su.

The 84-year-old retired King Sihanouk had visited China many times, and has been committed to promoting Cambodia-China friendship.

In March this year, Sihanouk donated 50,000 U.S. dollars to the Red Cross Society of China for social welfare services.
