Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of China's Macao Special Administrative Region, left here Sunday for his seven-day Southeast Asia tour which will cover Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
The chief executive is scheduled to make courtesy calls on high- level officials of the three nations and to visit a number of institutions and historical attractions, according to a press release issued by Macao's Information Bureau.
Talking to the media before departure, Ho expressed his wishes that he will be in a hard bid during the visit to strengthen the economic ties with the three nations.
