Chinese expertise to boost Zambian export prospects
font size

Zambia-China Business Association chairperson Sebastian Kopulande has said the transfer of Chinese expertise and technology in the trade and economic cooperation zone (TECZ) will boost growth and increase export prospects of Zambia, according to Times of Zambia.

It quoted him as saying that the private sector should take advantage and explore business opportunities under the arrangement.

Chinese technological expertise will have a huge impact on Zambian economy and will boost the quality of locally manufactured goods, he said.

Kopulande said the association is eager for a quick implementation of the multi-facility economic zones started for Lusaka and Copperbelt, which he said will boost the economy and create more jobs.
