Macao to launch workshop on air, space law

The Workshop on Introduction to Air &Space Law and International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Air & Space Law are to be held in Macao from April 16 to 21, according to an official press release issued Wednesday.

The release from the Macao's Civil Aviation Authority said the workshop is to promote air and space law and Macao's tourism image as well.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao, Administration of Airports Ltd. and Institute of Air and Space Law of McGill University, Canada, will jointly organize the two events.

The themes will cover the aeronautical authorities, airlines, airports, air services providers, manufacturers, insurance companies, academic institutions, and international organizations.

Some 20 speakers will attended the events representing the McGill University, University of Macao, General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, General Civil Aviation Authority of United Arabs Emirates, International Civil Aviation Organization, Association of Asia Pacific Airlines, Center for Asia Pacific Aviation, Health Authority of Macao International Airport, Boeing and Philippine Airlines.
