China offers condolences over bombings in Algeria, Morocco

China on Thursday extended condolences to the families who lost loved ones and those who were injured in bombings in Algeria and Morocoo.

"We are shocked by the violent attacks in Algeria and Morocco and extended our condolences to families of those who died in the bombings," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told the regular briefing.

Earlier on Wednesday, two separate bombings ripped through the Algerian capital Algiers, killing 23 people and injuring 162 others. On Tuesday, three suicide bombers blew themselves up one after another in Morocco's largest city of Casablanca, killing at least one and injuring dozens of others.
