British deputy PM to visit China

British deputy Prime Minister John Prescott will pay an official visit to China from April 19-25, at the invitation of Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced this at a regular press conference here on Thursday.
