Visiting chief executive of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China Edmund Ho Hau Wah, met with Singapore's leaders here on Friday in a bid to promote cooperation between the two sides.

Ho, who is here for a three-day visit started from Thursday, met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday morning.

Both leaders exchanged views on developments in Singapore and Macao, as well as broader trends in the region, local television Channel NewsAsia reported.

Ho expressed interest in Singapore's public housing experience and Lee said this was an area for further cooperation, the reports said.

The Macao delegation visited the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and received a briefing by the Singapore Trade and Industry Ministry on new developments in the economic and tourism sectors.
