Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- April 18

The gold price in Hong Kong went up 23 HK dollars to 6,398 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 690.04 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 4.39 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.8030 HK dollars.
