China's top legislator meets delegates to BFA annual conference

Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body, met with delegates of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on Friday.

Among the delegates were members of the BFA Board of Directors, senior government officials, business leaders and scholars and experts, speakers attending the BFA annual conference, and delegates to BFA youth forum.

The opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia 2007 annual conference is scheduled for April 21 in this coastal scenic town in China's southernmost island province of Hainan. Wu will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
