CE to attend Expo Central China 2007

The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Donald Tsang will leave on Wednesday for Zhengzhou, capital of China's Henan province, to attend the Expo Central China 2007, the SAR government said on Monday.

According to news from the Information Services Department of the HKSAR government, apart from attending the opening ceremony, Tsang will deliver a speech at the Central China Business Summit 2007, which is a highlight of the Expo.

Government officials accompanying Tsang will include the Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology Joseph Wong, the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Jessie Ting, and the Information Co-ordinator Andy Ho.

Tsang will return to Hong Kong on April 29. During the Chief Executive's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration Rafael Hui will be Acting Chief Executive.
