font size

China's Ministry of Public Security (MPS) has issued a Class A warrant for the arrest of a 48-year-old man suspected of being involved in the murder of three policemen and drug trafficking.

Police say that on March 25, Cao Wu and other drug traffickers carried narcotics into China from Myanmar.

Cao and other drug dealers attacked police in southwest China's Yunnan Province, which led to the deaths of three policemen, the MPS said.

After the fight, several drug dealers were arrested but Cao Wu fled, the MPS said.

Anyone who provides information that leads to Cao's arrest will receive a reward of 50,000 yuan (6,250 US dollars), according to the warrant issued by the MPS on April 19.
