India's leading engineering and construction firm Larsen and Toubro Wednesday bagged a 46.5 million US dollar contract from the Dubai-based Nakheel Group to build a luxurious residential complex, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

It is reported that the project, which will be executed by the firm's construction division, will involve 31-luxury villas and infrastructure facilities on the upscale Jumeriah Islands and will also include a clubhouse and a play area for children and complete landscaping.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 548 days from the date of commencement, it said.

This is the third project the Nakheel Group, a leading project developer in the United Arab Emirates, has awarded to Larsen and Toubro.
