Tongan PM visits NW China

Visiting Tongan Prime Minister Feleti Vaka'uta Sevele on Tuesday expressed his hope to boost agricultural cooperation with northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Shaanxi Governor Yuan Chunqing met with him, echoing his hope cooperation between Shaanxi and Tongan would be conducive to further promoting the friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.

After arriving in Xi'an Tuesday morning, Sevele and his delegation visited the Terra-cotta (of Qin Dynasty) Museum. He also plans to visit a local pig farm and a park on Wednesday.

Sevele is on a seven-day visit to China from April 24 to 30 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
