font size

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo on Saturday talked with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte in a previously arranged telephone call.

They agreed to enhance strategic dialogue and make joint efforts to promote the healthy and stable development of China-U.S. relations, said a Foreign Ministry press release.

They also had a comprehensive and in-depth exchange of views on properly settling Sudan's Darfur issue at an early date and further pushing forward the process of the six-party talks through political and diplomatic efforts.
