Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter MacKay arrived here Sunday morning to start a three-day visit to China.

MacKay will meet with State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan and hold talks with Yang Jiechi, China's new foreign minister who was named two days ago.

Besides, MacKay will also meet some Beijing-based foreign correspondents. After the China tour, he will visit the Republic of Korea.
