Guinea's Prime Minister Lansana Kouyate on Sunday highlighted the long-term assistance that the Chinese government has offered to the country, and expressed hope for more technical aid from China.

Kouyate said that the Guinean-Chinese relations is at the best stage in history, and China has provided assistance to Guinea for a long time.

Kouyate said his country expected the aid would be extended to fields including technology transfer, research cooperation and personnel training.

China has advantages in technology and research, of which Guinea lacks, Kouyate said, expressing his hope that China would transfer her simple and practical technology to Guinea and help the country in training people.

Referring to the cooperation in agriculture, Kouyate thanked the food aid the Chinese government has provided to the country. Meanwhile, the prime minister stressed that his country expected more technical aid and professional training from China in agriculture.
