Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- May 3

Gold price in Hong Kong rose 17 HK dollars to 6,279 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 674.69 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 0.60 U.S. dollars from previous trading at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.8120 HK dollars.
