German stocks close stronger

Germany's benchmark DAX index closed stronger for a fourth day on Friday on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The DAX index of 30 big companies gained 40.07 points or 0.54 percent to 7,516.76.

The index of medium-sized firms, MDAX, advanced 107.47 points or 1.00 percent to 10,810.33.

The TecDAX, the index of technology companies, increased 5.13 points or 0.59 percent to 873.92.
