Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Thursday met with visiting Foreign Minister of Cote d'Ivoire Youssouf Bakayoko.

Their half-hour-long meeting took place in Zhongnanhai in downtown Beijing where China's top leaders work and live.

Bakayoko arrived in Beijing on Wednesday. The six-day official visit will also take him to economically dynamic Shanghai Municipality and Guangdong Province.
