font size

Nigeria's President-Elect Alhaji Umaru Yar'Adua will on Saturday visit Cameroon as part of his consultations with African leaders.

The one-day visit will bring to eight the number of countries so far visited by Yar'Adua since he won the general election on April 21.

He had earlier visited Benin, Togo, Egypt, Senegal, South Africa, Algeria and Libya in the first-leg of the African tour.

The spokesman of the president-elect, Ndu Ughamadu, said he would be joined on the trip by top government officials and captains of industry.
