Chinese, Dutch FMs hold talks

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with his Dutch counterpart Maxime Verhagen here Wednesday morning.

The two sides signed a joint statement on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two ministries after the talks.

Verhagen, who arrived in Beijing Tuesday, is paying a three-day official visit to China. Verhagen is also expected to meet with China's top legislator Wu Bangguo Wednesday afternoon.
