Gold price lower in Hong Kong -- May 17

The gold price in Hong Kong dipped 62 HK dollars to 6,171 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 663 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down seven U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.812 HK dollars.
