Indian stock market rises for third straight day

The Bombay Stock Exchange (Sensex) continued rising Friday and closed the day at 14,303.41, up from Thursday's close of 14,299.71.

Friday's close is the highest since February 19, when the index ended at 14,402.90 points.

Stock dealers attributed the rally to buying and selling on the last day of the week.
