A new private jet aviation company which provides business charter flights has been launched in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), local newspaper Gulf News reported on Monday.
Prestige Jet, the new private jet aviation company, will operate out of Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports, the report said.
The new company is formed to meet the growing demand in the Middle East for VIP and executive business charter travel, Managing Director of Prestige Jet Faris Deeb was quoted as saying.
"More and more people in the Middle East are recognizing the advantages afforded by executive charter flights, and that this mode of transport is not just the exclusive domain of high net worth individuals," Deeb said.
The Middle East region and the UAE in particular continue to enjoy a high level of economic growth, creating strong demand for infrequent one-off charter trips, he added.
"Prestige Jet currently has two leased aircraft in its fleet, a 10-seat Bombardier Challenger 604 which can fly non-stop to destinations as far afield as London, Rome, Geneva, Nice or Bangkok, while the 8-seat Raytheon Hawker 800XP is suitable for flights throughout the Arab world as far as Cairo," he said.
"We can help plan every detail of a trip -- including hotels and transfers in order to optimize the client's time at his destination, thereby increasing productivity and efficiency," he added.
