font size

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with his Gabonese counterpart Jean Ping in Beijing on Monday, both expressing wishes to further pushing forward bilateral ties.

Hailing the progress of China-Gabon ties over the years, Yang said China is ready to join hands with Gabon to maintain high-level visits and further expand trade cooperation.

He expressed appreciation of the Gabonese government's adherence to the one-China policy.

Jean Ping said his government treasures its friendly ties with China, and hopes to deepen bilateral cooperation in various areas.

Jean, also Gabonese deputy prime minister, said his government will continue to stick to the one-China principle.

They also conferred on major international issues.
