Foreign trade value expects to exceed US$2.1 trillion
font size

Recently, the Department of General Affairs of Ministry of Commerce and Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) published the "Situational report on China's foreign trade" for the spring of 2007. The report estimated that the total value of China's import and export goods will exceed US$2.1 trillion in 2007, increasing by 20 percent.

This report shows that, in 2007, the expansive cycle of world economic trade, China's economy will continue to experience a stable and rapid increase on the basis of an optimizing structure, improving benefits, saving energy and reducing energy consumption. It is in the interest of the general climate of China's foreign trade development to expect a continual, rapid increase throughout this year.
