PLA General Staff chief leaves Beijing for tour to three Asian nations

Liang Guanglie, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), left Beijing Wednesday morning for an official friendly visit to three Asian countries.

Liang is invited by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the armed forces of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Kim Kwan-Jin, chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian armed forces Ts. Togoo and chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese People's Army Nguyen Khac Nghien.
