As India witnesses a spurt in property prices, its financial capital Mumbai has been ranked as one of the world's top 10 expensive locations in terms of accommodation cost, news agency Press Trust of India (PTI) reported Wednesday.
Mumbai ranked the seventh, PTI quoted a report by International Human Resource organization ECA International as saying.
The list comprises Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Seoul, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Caracas (Venezuela) and Paris (in order of their position).
In April, Indian Finance Minister P Chidambaram said the government will shortly set up a committee to lay a roadmap to make Mumbai the heart of international financial activities.
