China, Indonesia seek anti-corruption cooperation
font size

China and Indonesia have agreed seek closer exchanges and cooperation between their anti-corruption agents.

The consensus was reached between He Yong, deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and Tauflequrachman Ruki, chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia.

Hailing the progress of bilateral win-win cooperation in recent years, He said China is ready to further boost Sino-Indonesia strategic partnership and increase exchanges and cooperation in various fields including combating corruption.

He also briefed the guests about China's anti-corruption efforts, adding the country will redouble its efforts to improve CPC's work style and fight corruption so as to promote the building of a harmonious society.

Ruki spoke highly of China's achievements in fighting against corruption. He said the Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia is willing to step up cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Supervision in this regard.

The two agents had already signed a MOU to facilitate cooperation during Ruki's on-going China trip.
