Six Palestinian bystanders were wounded when Israeli F16 warplanes attacked a camp for Hamas police forces in Gaza city on Thursday afternoon, witnesses and paramedics said.
The witnesses said the Executive Force's camp was empty when the strike took place and the casualties were among ordinary people who were walking on the street outside the site.
Hospital officials said the six people were slightly and moderately injured.
However, the bombing caused damage to several houses and smashed their window glasses.
At least five cars for a taxi service company, located opposite to the camp, were badly damaged by shrapnel and pieces of cements that scattered in the area.
Moments later, another strike targeted a site for the Executive Force in central Gaza Strip town of Dier al-Balah, causing no casualties.
The latest two Israeli strikes, part of a week-long aerial offensive, came after Hamas military wing announced launching two home-made rockets into Sderot city in Israel.
Earlier in the day, President Mahmoud Abbas has reiterated calls for stopping the rocket attacks into Israel, terming the rockets as "idle."
