Myanmar information minister meets CCTV delegation

Myanmar Minister of Information Brigadier-General Kyaw Hsan met with visiting delegation of the China Central Television (CCTV), led by Director-General Zhao Huayong, in the new capital of Nay Pyi Taw Tuesday.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen the friendly exchange and cooperation between the CCTV and the Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV).

Under the China-Myanmar cultural exchange program, the CCTV delegation arrived in Yangon Monday on a three-day goodwill visit to Myanmar after visiting Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

Myanmar and the CCTV are cooperating in shooting of the Myanmar part of a 20 Lancang-Mekong documentary series which feature Mekong River's natural resources and its development.
