Blue ear disease has originated in only a few provinces. According to statistics reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, 45,000 pigs were infected with the disease from January to May, and 18,000 of them died.

Blue ear disease has seriously affected the stable and healthy development of the pig breeding industry. It is not only an economic issue, but also a social issue. Therefore, the issue focuses on the control of the contagious disease. Currently, twelve enterprises are required to attend to new arrangements for vaccine production.

The Ministry of Agriculture has requested to do immunizations to control blue ear disease in the outbreak areas. In addition, reports on the outbreak situation should be accurately recorded and well-done.
