Top DPRK legislator meets Chinese Communist Party delegation

Kim Yong Nam, top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), on Thursday met a visiting delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Lu Hao, secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee.

Kim said that the DPRK-China traditional friendship has a long history and the bilateral relationship is developing very well.

It is the DPRK's unwavering resolve to make continuous efforts to consolidate and strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, he said.

Lu spoke highly of the China-DPRK friendship, saying that the bilateral cooperation will develop smoothly under the guidance of the top leaders of the two countries.

The six-member CPC delegation arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday.
