South Korea's chief negotiator for the six-party talks on the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula will visit the United States next week to seek solution to the standoff, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said Friday.

Chun Yung-woo will visit Washington starting from next Monday, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency quoted an unnamed official as saying.
