Surinamese Vice President Ramdien Sardjoe arrived in Beijing Sunday afternoon, kicking off his first official visit to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Zeng Qinghong.

During his stay in Beijing, Sardjoe is expected to meet with senior Chinese leaders Hu Jintao and Li Changchun respectively. Sardjoe will hold talks with Zeng.

Sardjoe's six-day tour will also take him to northwest China's ancient city Xi'an, northeast China's coastal city of Dalian and Shanghai in the east.
