Indonesian Vice President Yusuf Kalla left central China's Hubei Province Sunday afternoon for Hong Kong, concluding his five-day official visit.

Kalla visited the Three Gorges Project after arriving in Yichang of central China's Hubei Province from Chengdu, in southwestern Sichuan Province.

The Three Gorges Project, believed to be the world's largest water control facility, is built on the middle reaches of the Yangtze River with a 185-meter-high dam. The entire project is designed to have 26 generators and will be finished by 2009.

Kalla expressed his admiration for the project, especially when he knew that all the generators of the projects were installed by Chinese themselves.

Earlier, Kalla visited southwest China's Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, as well as Beijing.

Kalla visits China at the invitation of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong.
