Dollar hovers at upper 121 yen in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar stayed around the upper 121 yen level on Monday in Tokyo.

At 5:00 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 121.60-62 yen, compared with Friday's 5:00 p.m. quotes of 121.67-77 yen in New York and 120.91-94 yen in Tokyo.

The dollar moved between 121.52 yen and 121.75 yen during the day, changing hands most often at 121.63 yen.

The euro traded at 1.3342-3344 dollars and 162.24-28 yen, against Friday's 5:00 p.m. quotes of 1.3369-3379 dollars and 162. 71-81 yen in New York and 1.3397-3400 dollars and 162.01-05 yen in Tokyo.
