font size

Thailand's Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont said Friday that the government will not try to block former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's teleconference with protestors at Sanam Luang Square through a Web cam Friday night.

Surayud said Thaksin had the right to talk to the protestors as long as he would not incite them to violence.

However, officials concerned would monitor the content of his address to the protestors at Sanam Luang, local media reported.
